When I visited the Paramount Ranch in September, 1996, I was lucky enough to meet two ladies from Japan, Yukiko and Harumi. Although there was a very definite language barrier between us, there was no doubt as to who we were there to see. Since then, we have kept in touch and Yukiko has shown amazing generosity by sending me an incredible amount of photos of Joe which she captured from video. I've been trying to think of a way I could use some of them on my web page and I decided that a web page dedicated to Joe Lando just wouldn't be complete without a tribute to Sully who is certainly the most memorable character Joe has played to date and who has brought him into the hearts and to the attention of millions of women throughout the world. For six seasons, Joe shared with us Sully's story and his growth from a grieving, reclusive widower to a lover, husband and father in one of the sweetest love stories ever told. They say a picture paints a thousand words and so, with Yukiko's help, I've created this web within a web in an attempt to share with you just some of the many characteristics of Sully which have been captured by Yukiko!
